Default 1859 Saddle For Sale

1859 Federal McClellan saddle made with heavy black harness leather. The tree is modern and covered with rawhide. The hooded wooden stirrups have a 3" tread and leather toe guards. Brass mortise shield plates on the cantle and pommel. Black steel dees, rings, staples, footman stands, buckles, and saddle bag stud.

Less than 3 years old, just getting broken in. 11 1/2 inch seat (average size) w/ wide quaterhorse tree. This tree will fit a wide - flat backed horse - it fits my Irish draft and some of our Quaterhorses, but is too wide for our appendix type Quaterhorses and our TB. It may fit an arab or a morgan.

It is a nice comfortable saddle, in very good condition, but does not fit the horses my husband is now campaining.

Asking $800.00.
