Default System Upgrades During Next 48 Hours

Various patches, upgrades, and maintenance will applied starting later today. The board may be down during that time. When maintenance is complete, I'll make a note in this thread.

May I be so bold as to ask what your upgrades entail? A new chatroom perhaps?

The 48 hours are long past. I didn't notice any upgrades. I'm not complaining, just an observation.

I think Mike was being a bit ambitious to include the system upgrades for this past weekend.

Along with fixing the porch, installing a fence, organizing the inlaws stuff in the basement, going to the range to sight in his henry, and a parade. a few things didn't qute get done! LOL

I am not even sure he has opened his computer in the last 4days.

Anyway, I am not sure what the upgardes entail, I am thinking it must be a new version of php, that probably won't affect the appearance or function of the message board.

We are still waiting on a chatroom that won't cost a mint and is not hackable.

If you really do want to chat, you can always set up a private chat through yahoo, or icq or aim.

Anyway,

Yikes! here I am a computer programmer by profession, and I have no idea what you are talking about!

What is "php"?

I don't even want to know about "icq" or "aim"!

php and vbulletin are the programs that the forums are operating on.

ICQ and AIM are instant messaging systems

ICQ (I seek you); AIM (AOL instant messaging)

anyway, hope that helped ...
