I am sure MIke chose this width for a reason. Some people are still using smaller monitors and it would look bad on their screens to be wider.

Besides, it looks more professional this way.

Also if you had the "forum" bookmarked you will need to redo your bookmark, that page no longer exhists. It is now integrated with the rest of the site, so hopfuly people will realize that we are more than just a resource center and more than just a message board.

I set the page width to a little less than 800 pixels wide for 800X600 and larger screens because that will allow support for the largest number of users to view the site. However, I am planning to tweak the message board page a bit to squeeze out some of the extra white space.

In a future version, and I can't promise when, I'll try to create an option for users to use a wider template, something on the scale of 1000 pixels wide to accomodate 1024X768 screens and larger.
