Dial Up doesn't work real well w/ the net anymore period. For me I know that is the issue.

I'm dialup as well and the new system reacts a touch slower than the old -- not drastically, but noticeably.

Just wondering, if you folks use 'dial up' is that because there is no cable service there? Do you use Antenae for your TV? (maybe you just use the radio for WGN's farm report?)
What's with the state of your communictions technologies?

I've been looking for an acceptable alternative for about a year. The major providers simply have not yet gotten to me. I could go satellite, but the cost sucks big time. It'll sometime come around where I can get there at a price where I can justifiably switch over.

I refuse to pay $60 for cable when I don't find anything on worth watching. DSL is $40 +... I check email & boards like this... I don't need it.
