As many of you are aware, I have been a longtime admirer of the actions of the Irish in the Civil War.* I wrote an essay on the Irish Brigade several months ago and have other articles planned on the brave actions of the Irish in our fratricidal war.* Recently I found a new blog, authored by Damian Shiels, Irish in the American Civil War.* It is a relatively new blog, but is very well done.* I look forward to following Damian’s blog in the future.* Please check it out.
