    We are a Northern based mess from the State of Ohio, looking for some new members to join us. We are a progressive based mess always looking to improve our drill, authenticity, and knowledge. Primarily we do Sharpshooter impressions of both US and CS, but we also full in as regular infantry at times. Now we are not a unit, but a mess of individuals from different units (but we do have one unit in common Company "C" 2nd United States Sharpshooters). There are no dues or anything like that. We travel to local, regional, and national events with a progressive attitude on trying to do things right. If you are interested and would like to know more please contact me.

    SS in Green, sir;

    This particular thread is a personal introduction, like : "Hi I am John Doe from Virginia, etc."

    I think with our "re-enactors" category, there may be a better response. So, instead of having you double your work, I will move this thread there so you can be addressing those who are interested in re-enacting/living history; actually involved, etc.

    I do want you to be successful sir!

    Respectfully submitted,
    M E Wolf

    I had two pages of website up and looking at the Reenactor Forum and The Newbie Forum and must have not paid attention to which one I posted the thread. Thanks for the switch.

    SS in Green, sir;

    Just checking in sir.

    With weather climbing out of the freezer, I hope you will get more responses.

    It wouldn't hurt checking back and or posting the 'latest' on your group, e.g. Live history demonstration at Camp Chase, Ohio, color guard for Camp Chase Fifes and Drum Corps, etc..

    Respectfully submitted for consideration,
    M. E. Wolf

    Wish I were younger and lived closer. Sounds like a great mission statement. Much success, sir!
