Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
I hope I caught your attention!
I would like everyone to give a warm welcome to our new moderators.
Shane (johan_steel) is staying on as moderator, but has been given some more boards to moderate, and will essentially be my right hand man.
now that I am busy chasing a soon to be toddler all over the place, I needed some help.
Mark Wadsworth is our new Civil War A-Z moderator, but will also be keeping his eyes peeled for spam and posts that may not be quite kosher.
Samgrant will be taking over as our trivia game proctor, he is in the process of formulating how the game will be played and learning the ropes from hoosier.
He and I together are working on how to get some more interest in the game, if you have any ideas we welcome them.
These are your new moderators, and I expect that everyone will show these people courtsy and respect. I'm not worried, this is one fine group of people who always does their very best to keep CWT running smoothly and trouble free.
While I am excited to welcome these new mods to their posts, I am also a bit saddened. As we will be saying to good-bye to Hoosier as trivia moderator, he has been running the trivia game for more than 2 years, and has done an exceptional job.
Thank you so much for dedication, I hope your now new free time won't overwhelm you too much! LOL
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!

Time is the killer for me Sam. I love the game, but often times I'm pressed with other matters - like trying to get my book out. Darn, despite reading hundreds of books on the war, I really don't know anything other than what Ken Burns had on his show, Bruce Catton wrote in his triology on the Army of the Potomac, James McPherson wrote in Battle Cry of Freedom. Can anyone direct me to the comic book version of the Civil War?

POWER & MONEY
"The brokers of the Empire City are furious at the prospect of seeing their lucrative trade diverted to Charleston or New Orleans, and carried on with English capital. The lust of money has had ten times more to do with the sudden patriotism of the North than their love of liberty."
London Morning Herald, 1861
Dickens was not an economist, he was a teller of tales.
