Jesse Woodson James was 17-18 at the end of the war, and not really a respected partisan. He was pretty much driven out of Andersons sight and assigned to Arch Clements , because Dingus was too reckless and Bloody Bill of all people thought Jesse would endanger the command.

There is no way in hell that the KGC or OAK, gave a kid , who was laid up with a chest wound at wars end control over all the gold, if they had any. Poole, Frank James others maybe. Dingus James not a chance.

The Long Riders is on right now. Is that weird or what? My favorite part (aside from the music) is when they're robbing the stage and the guy says, "I was with Shelby!" Harry Carey, Jr: "Where?" Guy: "Cold Harbor!" HCJ: "Rob the (*&&^^!" Okay....I'm done. I love Harry Carey, Jr. I'm so glad I actually got to meet him and Ben Johnson

A friend of mine did her master's thesis on the role of the KGC in the consipiracy surrounding the assassination of A. Lincoln. Her arguments closed with sublime Aristotelian logic. But what is the saying? Any argument is only as strong as its weakest link? The KGC was a bobblehead on the dashboard of history. The thing is, the road was filled with potholes, and the car crashed.

You are now going in the CWT Hall of Fame for quotes.....and I'm gonna plagiarize it unmercifully in class this year.
