Default Civil War twins

I wasn't sure where to put this but does anyone have a virtual twin that fought in the war? I came across this pic awhile back and it's the spittin image of me when I was his age except my hands aren't that big. Lt Harry Hatcher. He rode with Mosby's Rangers.

I suppose if he were clean-shaven with a decent haircut, he'd be considered handsome. The hand does appear huge, doesn't it. Some of that might be that iw was closer to the camera than was his face.
