Default Alabama Historical Societies

Is there a historical society or geneaological society in Huntsville Ala. or Madison Co. Ala. that has an e-mail address or some type of contact number?

Thanks

Another place you might want to search is the library at Wallace College which has a hugh collection of civil war data.

Smile

Hello.

I just got my great-great-grandfather's civil war pension records (and his marriage certificate too) from the State of Alabama Department of Archives and History. I filled out a form and paid a fee on their website and they sent me the info within a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps!
