Default Lt. Col. Daniel Livingston & Quincy family

My great, great-grandfather was Lt. Col Daniel Livingston of the First S.C. Volunteers. He commanded the First for only two weeks, at the end of the Second Manassas, at Boonsboro, and at Sharpsburg. He was seriously wounded at Sharpsburg. He was listed in the rosters I have found as "absent sick" in 1863. My mother recounts that her grandmother, born in 1863, was named Quincy Fairfax Livingston because Daniel Livingston (her father) was nursed back to health by a family named Quincy in Fairfax, Virginia. I am trying to find any descedents of that Quincy family. Or any information about field hospitals or families who took in the wounded after the battle at Sharpsburg. Thanks for any information!
