Default Naval Battles -

Do any reenactments of Civil War naval battles take place anywhere? I'm sure doing this would be very difficult, but it could be a very exciting thing to see.

I'm a descendent of CSA Rear Admiral Raphael Semmes (through my uncle James B. Stamp) of Mobile, Alabama, and reading and listening to the stories about the CSS Alabama's adventures under Semmes' command literally all over the planet are so amazing. The name 'Alabama' became famous all over the world because of him. Truly remarkable.

Default Naval battles

You might want to check with the folks at Port Columbus Ga. That is the location of the National Civil War Navy museum. No doubt they could point you in the right direction. Here is a link to their site:
