Default 5th Georgia Infantry Co. A "Clinch Rifles"

Hy guys,

I really do hope that you can help me out.
We are a Club from Austria and just started reenacting. We've chosen the Co. A of the 5th GA Inf. to reenact.
I am aware of their green Uniform. I also am aware of the fact that they did not use them for long and eventually got replaced by blue ones and even later by the standard grey.

My question is regarding the green Uniforms. What colors did the rank insignias have? My best bet is gold. I did see Photographs of the unit. But on black and white it is hard to tell wether the uniform was green or blue.
But the color of the rank insignia was the same shade of light grey as the stripe on the pants.

Does anybody have information on this?

Thanks for your help
kind regards
Handy

I believeThe rank insignia were sky blue. I believe Echoes of Glory has an existing uniform. When I get home I'll look and see if I can find a specific reference.

That would be great if you could do that!
But for me it is without any proof hard to believe, that somebody would create a green uniform with gold stripes on the trousers as well as on the Kepi, the frock coat,...
and then put sky-blue rank insignias on it.
But if it was like that, we certainly will do it like that.
