Default Its a long way from the Alamo

I have just discovered that there is a Texas regiment in my area (no I can't work it out either). Who do they fight? At age 43, I am a little old to pass for a private, although technically speaking I suppose I could. But as a real life pharmaceutical technician I would make a useful hospital steward. Thing is, I haven't really decided who's side I am on.

I had only just made the above post when the phone rang. This was to confirm I start my new job on Monday for an American company who are based in New Jersey. I suppose this means I have chosen sides. I am now a Yank.
