Question Pioneer sergeants chevrons?

I have read the they existed, but the only thing that I have found online is a pioneer's emblem from a sutlery, and a photo from the 1880's.

Does anyone know if the Union army had a chevron for a pioneer sergeant, and where I might get a picture of it?

The Army of the Cumberland up until 64 had a Pioneer Brigade w/ the distinctive crossed axes of the pioneer corps. THey were heavily involved at Stones River and in the Tullahoma Campaign though I believe they missed the bloodbath of Chickamauga. Don Trioni did a painting depicting a pioneer... IIRC it was of an NCO would be well worth looking up. The chevrons would have been directly underneath the crossed axes.

Rock, not sure if the Confederacy had special pioneers or if certain regiments were assigned pioneer duty, but that army was chary with its emblems. For instance, the Confederate hospital steward wore the stripes of a first sergeant, not the lovely green half chevron of the Union. I've never seen an example of the crossed axes for Confederates.
