Default What boot dressing to use?

What are all you guys using on your rough out brogans for a boot grease? I've been using Hubards on all my boots I ever owned and have been pretty happy, but I hear something called Pecrd's dressing mentiond everyonce inawhile.

Alright, I ended up just using the Hubards on my brogans. They are roughout but now are quite smooth looking, not shiny just looks like the hair side now.

I hit my brogans with a good coat of black KIWI polish. It's just a hang up from my Marine Corps days. Granted once we switched to the tan boots I use a whole lot less boot polish.

I like the Pecard's Leather Dressing because it is not an oil and does allow the leather to breathe. Stay away from mink oils and the such.

I have to interject here. As a sedentary senior, I couldn't care less what you use on your boots. But I do thoroughly enjoy your enjoyment in sharing the information. And, if the time should come, I could advise a budding re-enactor on what is the best way to treat a boot, I will pass on your advice. Does it get any better than this?
