Default Motor Mill 2 coming up

Are any members from the site still planning to attend? If so the meet & greet will be on Friday eve.. all are welcome. There will also be a short SUVCW meeting and a general meet n greet for all attendees. May 19-21 Motor Mill (near Elkader) Iowa.

Hope to see some of you again. Those who have been forced to pass I appreciate your friendship and dedication to the memory of the men on the sharp end 1861-65.

It looks like we might have had a Mountain Lion on site this year... more participants and more public. Good event & Steves gift of cotton boughs seems to have been a big hit. All things considered a great event.

Sounds Grand Shane, Glad to hear my little gift was a hit.. My weekemd didnt turn out as planed.. on the way back from Granger on Sat.

I stopped by the Carter house to say hi to my friends there only to learn that an acquaintance of mine Major Matthew Worrell of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment aka - "Night Stalkers" was killed during combat operations in Yusifiyah, south of Baghdad, Iraq when his AH-6M Little Bird helicopter was shot down by enemy fire.

More on that Later.. As I do a post about him.

Well i then started my way home car started acting odd so I by decided it might be better to by my other plans got close to home 15 miles or so and it quit.. not sure really what's wrong hopefully it isnt a lost cause .. but we shall see...

regards,
Steven

BTW
I did meet a young man at Granger that lives was up around that way. Wis, Iowa, Ill corner therer.. Dont recall his name though. But I told him I had gone that way last year to at a event near Elkader and he mentioned Motor mill ..
