Good Sir,

My unit decided not to at the last minute but I might be attending with some friends and form up with another dismountd unit.

Hope we will not be on opposite sides!!

Not a chance, too far and gas prices...

Default Feeling down

For over 20 years I wanted so much to reenact. Didn't have the resources nor the time. About 15 years ago at a encampment in Upstate New York after talking "shop" with some artillery men, they gave me the honor to fire a 9lb "baby" Napoleon. They even loaded a baseball into it and blasted a hole in a backstop of a baseball field.
Man!!!! WHAT A RUSH!!!! But don't worry...... they fixed the backstop and repainted it before the weekend was over.

Default Living Historians

They didnt sound like a group of serious living historians.

You reenact now? If not...make the time...refinance the house...and find a good group. Not a bunch of yahoos.

VS...aka member of the snooty living historian guild.
