Grits, welcome aboard.

This is a great place.

I don't know the Grays, unfortunately.

We are the 4th Alabama Infantry, Co. F., and hopefully we will run into one another.

You know.. we ought to find some way to identify ourselves at events, should we choose, so we can put faces to names we meet here!

Default Tannehill Skirmish

After a lengthy time away due to life in general, I finally found my way back to this place and have a lot of catching up to do.

I'm wondering how many of y'all are planning to be at the Tannehill event this weekend?

Ma'am as much as I would love to .. My Motorized horse has crossed over to rest under the shade of the trees to never ride again.

Hopefully I get some kinda of motorized horse and buggy soon.

Wishing all thoses that attend a safe and rain free weekend.

Yikes!

How sad for you and your motorized horse!

I do understand, though. I recently had to buy new shoes for my horse. That's why I didn't make it to Kennesaw as I had originally planned.

Default It's that time of the year

Our Division just had its annual meeting to discuss what events we are attending this year.

Because of Pvt. Brown's work schedule, we rarely make any event outside the great state of Alabama, but we make as many of those as we can.

I know we'll be at Selma, Blountsville, Bridgeport, Tannehill, Decatur (we are co-hosting this event again this year), and Tallassee.

Hopefully, I am going to be able to make one or two events without Mr. Brown, as I have a traveling buddy now. Maggie is our Head Matron of the nurses.

What about y'all? Where are you going this year? How many of us are going to cross paths?
