Or worse, at one small local reenactment we were at, He got up, armed himself with a stick to use as a crutch and wandered among the dead on the battlefield, calling out,

"John! John! Where are you John? Mother told me you turned traitor! Are you out there John?" He had half the "dead" trying to hide their faces to keep from cracking up as he walked by them, sobbing, "Oh my long lost brother."

It probably wouldn't have went over well at some other events, but at this one, it was perfect.

Ma'am the facts are that it trully happened like that at time.. It did at the Murfreesboro.. One union I officer thought theses two soldiers yanks were stripping a confederate and when he aproached one turned around as tears started flowing as he held a letter he said "Sir its not what you think, This my brother" The brothers were in Kentucky units one Blue and one Gray..
