Default Heres the "Boy General" -General A. Custer

At Liendo Plantation Civil War Weekend Nov. 18,19,20 every year. We have a nice reenactment that is growing every year!!! There were almost a 1000 reenactors there this year over 2000 tourist and Ch. 13 (abc) was there making a documentary!!! Well having Custer in this event is because after the Civil War General Custer made his HQ at the plantation and with orders to burn it down, he disobeyed probaly because of the generous "southern hospatality" he was given. And every year we have a reenactor protray Gen. Custer and its real nice to see him and take a shot at him

Not sure obout the rev war.. .. but they may?

I know that a few lads from denmark crossed the big pond and rereacted in the 140th Franklin event in 2004.. I rember reading somewhere they had had a relative that fought in the Civil war but not at that paticular battle..

There were lots of Imigrants that came over from various places to start a new life so the family they left behind might still be there .. We tend to forget that .. So in short Our history is Their history..

BTW..thanks for posting the wonderful pics..

I would mind taking a few shots at custer myself lol but then if we take him out the Lakota & Cheyenne wouldnt have anyone to whoop up on ...
