Trying to figure the best way to do the patrol/route march and to involve any CS participants. We cannot have a skirmish of any kind; no shooting at each other under any circumstances.

Option 1 is to force galavinize CS troops so they can participate in a patrol vs imaginary foe.

Option 2 is to create a desertion/capture scenario... where we come upon CS men or they come upon the patrol. Might be interesting to simulate such a tense moment.

Option 3 is to create a pursuit patrol; CS scouts are spotted... Union patrol organized to track them down. Again this might be interested but would have to be partially scripted as no shooting at each other is permitted.

Any suggestions from those who might attend the 2007 event?

Shane, you could have the rebels on one side of the river yanks on ther and would could trade goods back and forth..

know the problem would be is crossing the river to the sand bar out there.

another is to have the sounthern civies station around the inn and use it hospital rebel soldiers can either galvaize or be wounded etc while the feds march in from the main intrance there and then proced to where you camped before

just a thought
