Shane,

I really enjoyed the pics from your event. Looks like you guys tried to take the time to do a good presentation. Hope it all went well for you.

Thankyou Shane and Hartack for the amazing pictures. I can honestly say that Jenna's baby is the cutest child in the world...at least until the end of October! As for William's sister - what a beautiful young girl.

Thanks Shane for posting that pic for me. That was from the Forest City, IA event where Shane and I had the opportunity to meet face to face. What a thrill to be able to meet someone face to face that you have only talked to on line. It was great to meet you once again Shane, and I look forward to seeing you and Bobbie at Boscobel.

Also, thanks for the compliment Dawna. I am a bit partial to the little General, so it's nice to hear that others think he's a handsome little devil as well. He was sound asleep on my folks camp bed when Shane set that picture up for me. I just couldn't resist taking a few snap shots. This one was by far the best.

Jenna

Shane,

Is the above picture one of Jenna and her husband? And you're right, excellent civilian presentation, if I do say so myself.

No Neil, that is my folks. They portray people of the high society. Let me tell you, they get stopped about 50 times just trying to get to the bathroom! But thank you for the compliment. I shall pass that on to them. I should really get a picture of Jon and myself sometime hey? It's just hard sometimes with Jon in the blacksmith shop and me with the camera in my hand.

The pictures were taken out at Forest City,IA. Shane has been nice enough to post them for me since my computer is old and doesn't have the picture program on it to shrink them to fit on this site. Thanks again Shane!!

Jenna,

I would be very pleased if you passed on my comments on how well your folks look the part of a 19th century couple. They really do a great job and would grace any historical setting or reenactment of the civil war period.

And yes, you need to send the board a picture of you and your husband! It would be very much appreciated by myself and I am sure to those of the board who visit this thread.

Sincerely,
Unionblue

You do Shane? From where and when? Go ahead and post it if you would like. I can't remember sending it to you, but who knows, the way my memory is working lately I can't remember what I did yesturday.

And thank you so much Neil for the wonderful compliments. My folks and my family strive to represnt the higher class civilians as accuretly as possible. We do dress out of the norm of the camp dresses and lower to middle class society women that so very much inundate the re-enacting community here. We just love to show people what it was like to be Scarlette and live on Tara, without the plantation of course!
