Well, my oldest son, Erik, got into our local paper here after this weekends big event at the Milwaukee VA Center. The VA Center is one of the only remaining centers that has the original buildings plus the new working hospital. It is also one of the first three VA Centers created after the Civil War and signed in by Abe Lincoln before he was assassinated. For the last four years now they have held a multi-era encampment, honoring all of those who fought in every war that Americans have been involved in, with a primary emphasis on Civil War.
