Some fair-to-middlin federal troops at Ft. Davidson (Pilot Knob, MO). Bad strategy by ol' Pap let the boys slip out at night and blow the magazine. The earthworks are still there, and there's a reasonable sized hole right in the center.
W0W!!!!!!! What great photos. Makes me feel I know this bunch a little better than before. Although I don't know if I'll ever join a reenactment group , I'll do my best to see reenactments here on the east cost. If I ever grow a beard I will probably look like this.......

Excellent photos! You look just like you did at Motor Mill -- except that I don't remember that blanket roll. Is that a new fashion statement?

The Blanket Roll was there just didnt have it out while we were all chatting around the campfire. The coverlet is probably 140yr old and really adds that you are steping back in time..
I dont wear all the time just occasionally depend on the weather and what I doing.
Thamks for the kind words Rad.

Steve is the level by which I judge CS re-enactors... attitude, accent, looks the part and knows the what for and he ain't no blessed cowboy. Is he an "Authentic or Hardcore." Well I don't know or care on that note but he is the guy the public can walk right up to & ask a question of and they'll get a legit friendly answer.
Good Luck friend.
Btw, ever get a rifle that fit you as well as my Miroku?
