Shane and Neil- that is why our family re-enacts together. My mom and dad, brother, and my hubby, my son, myself and our soon too be little one, do this because it is a great family experience. It gives us all such a connection not only to history, but to ourselves. I feel for those who go out and their families don't join in. This is such a great hobby, and can be so much fun. Just the people you meet, like here on the board, is incredible.
