I did. I was fortunate enought to be a 1st Lt. with the AOP (Army of the Pacific). I had a great time. The rain made it that much better!! We got drenched while on our march. Got back into camp and it finally stopped raining. We got dried off enough to fall asleep. Then by midnight I awoke to even more rain and spent the rest of the night huddled around the fire (since we were on campaign and had no tents). The battle on Sunday was a farse, but the battle in and near the cornfield was GREAT!!!!! We went in facing backwards just like the real soldiers did. And to make it more personal that was the same ground that soldeirs from the 1st and 21st Wisconsin fought and died so bravely. All in all it was a great event.
