May in Iowa can be a bit tricky, usually it is as I would expect weather from mid/late spring, though Summer should be just around the corner. Don't worry we shouldn't have to worry about snow and freezing temps, though we may see 40's at night but I expect highs in the 70's. I'll be able to give you an accurate picture of the weather as we are packing up the camp on Sunday afternoon

Sounds like lovely weather to me. Count me as somebody who will most likely be able to be there although only as a spectator. I am MOST willing to do anything to help the success of this event that I can.

A littlr over a month away my Friends..

Shane how far will the car be from camp just curious.. I may bring somthing in a cooler.. Such as a pre-cooked spiral cut ham from Cracker barrel.. Although its a country ham its says keep refrigerated. all we would do is cut what ever off and eat i over the open fire.

Just figered you yanks could still some locals hog and butcher it up or some good southern lady may offer up a ham to a wound confederate lad as myself.

Just a thought

Steven

Shane:

Plans are indefinite, but if I can do something from here, holler. If we come, we'll be in our camper. Scone, the cooler will not, I repeat, not have food in it. The good ladies of Iowa do know a thing or two about food, so I'll be more than happy to rely on their judgement.

I'd love to see you there Ole... maybe have a group picture of everyone on the CWT board and post it. Might be kind of fun.
