Default Grantsburg, Wisconsin

Hello,

I'm new here. In addition to Civil War topics, my interests are hunting, fishing, metal detecting and vegetable gardening. I hope to someday use my detector to find a bullet fired during the Civil War and be the first person to hold it in my hand since the one who originally loaded it into a gun.

I live in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, which was named in honor of General Grant's win at Vicksburg.

Looking forward to learning much here!

Welcome aboard, Trapper! Once upon a time, I used to love to hunt ducks. Enjoy your stay here.

Welcome to the forum.

Here's hoping that one day you find that bullet.

Dear DuckTrapper;

Welcome to Civil War Talk forums!

There is a topic discussion in the General Campfire Forums about 'hunt'n.'
So, there are a few hunters for sure to befriend.

Feel free to explore the forums and all that there is to experience. Please feel that there is no pressure or rush to post. It is better to post when you are ready and not meeting some quota. Quality over numbers.

Respectfully submitted,
M. E. Wolf

Ducky,

Do the good people in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, have anything to do with the fine folks in Leesburg, Virginia?

Just wonderin'.

Am personally glad to see two back to back badgers sign on. There's something IRON about Wisconsin men.
