Looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones. Since my last post a few things have happened, including starting a new website for American Civil War Projectile collectors (www.civilwarprojectiles.com), adding quite a few new specimens to my bullet and cartridge collection (www.baymediapro.com/collection) and adding a few new longarms to my collection, including two recently purchased P-53 Enfields.
In the grand scheme of things, I am still something of a newbie, so it is good to make your acquaintance.

Looking forward to some lively conversations. I have a couple of things that I wrote on unusual bullets and cartridges. Where should I post them?
Karen Lips,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm a naturalized Texan with time on both sides of the Mason Dixon. My feet are firmly planted on either side of the North/South fence.

Don't really know, TomH, but if I would take a guess, how about the "Civil War History-General Discussion" section and start a new thread there with your own new thread title on the unusual bullets and cartridges.

I would think writing about your research and findings would fit into several areas; such as the re-enactor's forum, the campfire discussion, general discussion, etc.
Reasoning behind such; is that even though it is current it relates to Civil War discussion and a good learning opportunity; especially for those artillerists out there and just understanding battles and use of such ammunition/munitions.
Just some thoughts.
Respectfully submitted for consideration,
M. E. Wolf
