Default Helo from Pennsylvania

I just joined this forum. My interest in the Civil war started at a very young age from visiting battlefields with my family. We went to Gettysburg at least once a year, Antietam once, and most of the Virginia battlefields once. My interest has really intensified over the last couple years though. I had been discussing the war on a couple other forums, before I stumbled onto this one while doing a google search. I'm glad I did. It looks like this is the place to be.

Pull up a chair, Parrott, and what good fortunte that you had parents that dragged you around to expand your world! I belong to a few other boards, but this is one where you will find serious, scholarly discussion right up front. We get silly now and then, and poke each other, but bottomline this is the best I've found.

Whatever you want to talk about, you'll find someone to talk with you. Whatever you want to learn, you'll find several to help. Whatever you want to teach, you'll find many who want to learn.

Welcome.
