Default Hello from Mosby's Confederacy

I have been lurking for quite some time and am very impressed with the quality of debate on this forum. I am looking forward to making your acquaintance.

Welcome, sir. Pull up a log, grab a cup, and we'll fry you up some sloosh.

How-do oldgraywolf. Pick up a stump and learn us something! There is plenty of conversations going around and I invite you commentary.

OldGrayWolf,

Welcome to the forum.

Here's hoping you find it worth your while, as I have.

Sincerely,
Unionblue

Staunton is a lovely town. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge in the Shenandoah Valley. It is not exactly "Mosby's Confederacy" but its close enough for me.

Did you know it was the birthplace of Woodrow Wilson?

Old grey wolf. Is that a slam at us old grey folks? If it is, welcome to the board! Pull up a chair and let's have a chat. I do envy your location. What a treat it must be to wake up in the morning and to look out on your meadows and mountains!

No disrespect intended sir. It refers to the grey in my beard and how long I've been prowling around seeking truth with regards to these matters.

As I write these words, I'm watching the morning dawn over Buck Mountain. It is a cool grey morning in Augusta county. We have had some weather this past week. Tornados on either side of us. Thankfully all is well and we are looking forward to a warm clear weekend. I intend to get out and trek around a bit. Spring is most definitely in the air.
