Default Huzzah to all

I just spotted this forum, so I thought I should introduce myself!

I'm a historian currently serving in the United States Navy, although I have no preference when it comes to which branch I study or talk about, believe me!

I started becoming more interested in the Civil War when I first saw Ken Burns's Civil War when it first aired many, many years ago. Since then, I have traveled to sites such as Gettysburg, Fredericksburg, and Appomattox to name a few. I have also read all of Shelby Foote's masterful volumes, and sifted through hundreds of documents relating to my ancestors and what they did during the war.

Just as a side, I won't get involved in any North vs. South arguments just as I won't get into any Quebecois vs. Anglo arguments- the past in that area belongs in the past

Aw, come on. I was looking forward to a good debate regarding the Candian Constitution and the original intent of the Canadian Federal system.

And welcome aboard.
