Default Greetings From Michigan

Hello to all fellow re-enactors! I just joined this site yesterday and think its awesome!
I've been re-enacting since last year and absolutely love it. My 3xGreat Grandfather, Captain John T. Kirk, was a member of the 10th Regiment, Arkansas Infantry and fought at Shiloh and Baton Rouge. It's really an honor to walk in his footsteps.

See you on the boards!

Pvt. Kirk

Welcome to the board. Jump right in and start posting away. Wasn't there another John T. Kirk? Wasn't that William Shattner' s Star Trek character?

Thanks! That's close, his character was James Tiberius Kirk. Because of that program I've been tagged with the "Captain" label since high school! On some of the other forums I'm on, I'm simply known as Captn Kirk.

Thank you sir. I like the idea of the trivia forum, it makes people think, read and understand aspects of the war that may go unnoticed. Great job!
