Hey Mathis. I love the KY countryside and I love the KY bourbon! I had a Four Roses bourbon while visiting Lincoln sites lat Sept. They don't sell it here. If you are into bourbon and get a hold of some. let me know and I may have to ask you to get me couple of bottles!

Obion is Nortwest Tennessee. my folks are from Southwest, Fayette Cty., and environs.

Wonder if Obion may have had much Unionist support being that close to the "North"?

Sentiment for this county was for Confederacy

1860 total population was--10,380-White--2,437--Black

The vote in this county was 2,298 for separation, 64 against 6/1861..
