Default A little late!

You can call me Russ, Been reenacting for four years, really enjoy it. I am with the 4th Texas here in utah.
ex- Law Enforcement, wife told me I had to quit or she was going to walk. I now work for a Hospice company, I get to say good-by to a lot of folks.
It's been fun learning from everybody. I hope I can bring something of value to the group.
If there are any other Utahns on this forum and you would like to join the 4th Texas, just send me a message.

I wish I owned all the slaves, so I could set them free and end this war!!!!!!!!!!! chadutes

Welcome Russ,

I can not begin to imagine two more difficult jobs in the world than that of law enforcement and a hospice worker. My hat is off to you.

I hope you join in at a thread or forum of your liking. I would be very interested in hearing your views of the Civil War.

Welcome again and I hope you enjoy your time here.

Sincerely,
Unionblue

Default New - 9th Regiment CT Volunteers Company F Infantry

Hey everyone, I have been trying to find out all I can about my Gr Gr Grandfather, Pvt. Patrick Bogey. Muster has him as Patrick Buggy out of Waterbury CT 9th Regiment Company F Infantry. I have a list of engagements, but I feel hungry for more info. He made it thru to the end. Came over from Ireland, was an ax handle maker, lived in NYC at 1st then moved to CT joined out of Waterbury.
If anyone can think of some good tools to find out more bout him, I would much apprecate it.
I know at Fort Jackson and St Phillip he was there with the 9th(The Irish Regiment) under Col Thomas W Cahill, in Butler's NE Brigade(I know) any help in ponting me in the right direction, I would welcome.
Good health to you all...

Thanks, Mary

Hey Chad, you know me by reputation if not by sight. One of my aliases is Sister Victoria. I host the UCWA message board. I'm hoping to be able to make it down sometime. Unfortunately, the big event at Camp Floyd coincides with the Idaho Writers League conference every year and they pay me to go to that one.
