Hi My name is Kent. I'm from Canada, and have been interested in the Civil War since about 1987. I came on here originally to see what people thought about the History Channel TV program "Sherman's March", which I haven't seen since we don't receive History Channel here. Anyways I look forward to being here.
Welcome. I see you're forum shopping. You'll find this one well worth your attention.

Kent, I was travelling in Virginia at the time so it's one of those rare occasions that I'll watch The History Channel (I don't have cable at home). I thought the show was OK and I was glad to see the producers/writers use Theodore Upson's book as a resource. I wish they introduced some other soldiers (both North & South) but I suppose there is a time limit. Welcome to this site too.
Hi Kent: Welcome to the board to you, one of our northern neighbors. We used to have a young lady from up yonder who would wade in with both feet in defense of the Confederacy, named Dawna. Haven't seen her for a while. She was quite eloquent, polite, non-inflammatory, and humorous too. Good to have you with us. Hope you like it here. Looking forward to your posts.
