Hi All
Just got registered for CivilWarTalk. Looking forwrd to some lively discissions. I have a degree in History so I only work with facts and I can handle constructive criticism.
Paul L. Hulse
Welcome Paul. Good to have you on the board. Hope you stay a while.

All I have is 98.6 but I was told it's all that really matters nowadays. Anyhow Paul, please keep working with facts and feel free to share your perspective as a learned man among us (not that everyone here is as ignorant as myself).
I have the honour, Sir, to be your Humble & Obedient Servant,
I look forward to hearing your views and getting your opinions on our various debates here.
Sincerely,

Paul, I have a hard earned degree in landscape architecture, so don't be surprised at my general lack of historical knowledge! Some of these folks haven't figured that out as yet, so don't tell 'em? There is some knowledge floating around here to counterbalance and educate folks like me. All in all a good group, though a little top heavy with yanks. With a Georgia address, hopefully your understanding of the South can add to the goal of a good philosophical balance. I look foward to learning from you!
Welcome aboard.

I hate to disappoint you. Allthough I was born in Ohio and raised in Florida all my ancestors were Yanks: 125 OVI, 105th OVI, and 36th IVI. From what I've read on this forum there are a lot of educated people here or else they have a good Dictionary. But most are very knowledgable of history.
Paul
I'll add my welcome, Paul, and hope you're one of the mixed breeds (like Larry) who reason rather than feel. Good to have you aboard. There's always a real chance of some good learnin' goin' on.

A GOOD DICTIONARY! That must be where Ole and Sam get all them big words. Veteran, I ain't disappointed that you have northern ancestry. It happened to the best of us. Besides, more yanks in the line increase the odds of hitting something with our limited firepower!
