Default Hi, thanks for the welcome

I am new to the forum, thought maybe I could find a Civil War forum that was not totally biased against the South. I only posted historically truthful, factual, accurate posts and have been personally attacked each time.

But yet no one refutes the accuracy of my posts.

Hmmmm.

Welcome, SM, this forum welcomes all opinions, tho you may find that many of us would like to see some documentation and/or defensable evidence for what some folks portray as factual information.

The intelligent thing would be for one to do his homework and try and refute the content of the posts.

The ignorant thing to do would be to attack the messenger.

The rules of debate are that if a claim is challenged, the maker of the claim is obligated to back up the claim with sources. If a credible source is provided, then the it's the challenger's turn to come up an opposing source.

And, please, no more than a point or two per post. Responding to multiple claims becomes cumbersome and some of them get lost.

Welcome.
Ole

Welcome, but, purposefully or not, you have brought all the hallmarks of a troll with you. You may well not be one, but that is why you are being challenged and you would do well to intelligently respond.
I am by no means anti-Southern (just look at my moniker! ) but I too realize that you are not posting legitimate claims.

Again, welcome, and I hope this all calms down and you can enjoy yourself. It's a good group.
