Default Newbie from NC

Hi, I'm in Jacksonville NC. Joined here to maybe learn a little about reenacting and hoping to find a way into the hobby from people that may be in the area. thanks.

Devil Dog, please feel welcome to hang around for a spell and share some of your knowledge and references in North Carolina. Nice flag by your name!

Welcom aboard DEVILDOG, the Germans gave us that name at Belleu Wood. Volunteered for Nam once to get out of NC, then promptly wished I hadn't. I've learned a lot from this site. Some real nice folks on it, and smart to.

Nice to meet you, always good to talk to a fellow Marine. I'm on the last quarter of my career, almost retirment time from the Corps. This seems like a really good site, I'm hoping to gain some insight into the reenactment community from here. thanks

Always good to see a good soldier join the board. There is a good amount of info in the re-enactor forum; some of it at least should be useful. We have several distinguished & experianced re-enactors on the board. Feel free to ask away and I am rather certain somone will be able to point towards a good answer.

Welcome and good Luck

Oh BTW; thank you for your service.
