Exclamation New to forum

Hey gang,

I'm new, I've scouted around the forum before and I like a lot of the posts. I'm in the Ohio area and a friend of mine and I have decided to form a progressive unit. We plan to form the 2nd Tennessee infantry, since the 1st Tennessee already exists in our area. If interested let me know.

I wanted to introduce myself and say hi and look forward to some good posts.

Nice flag by your name! Lots of good re-enactors around these parts. Climb aboard. Sam, Ole and I just like to talk about it. Too much arthritic limb action in our age group. Lots of these guys are up and around and will give you answers and support. Welcome from the 'rock city' of Tennessee.

Hello, Rock City Guard, and welcome to CivilWarTalk.

I'm not into reenacting myself, but check out the reenactors forum and you should find a number of people who share your interest in that regard.

Rock City Guard,

Welcome to the board and good luck forming your reenacting unit.

From Ohio, eh? And you say you scouted the board a bit before signing on? Any particular part of the board you liked and were interested in participating on? Always good to get a new view or an old view with a new voice.

Jump in and see if you like it at the 'deep' end of the board.

Sincerely,
Unionblue

I'm from the south side of Columbus.

I have been in Lancaster as part of my Union reenacting unit dedicating the Sherman monument and once did a Confederate officer impression for the public on the Fairgrounds in Lancaster some years ago.

Enjoy your stay here.

Welcome...Lets see...your profile says law enforcement, mopar and re-enacting. Well can't be all that bad. Fact, right down my alley.

I have owned several Road Runners and GTX's, been in law enforcement for 30 years and love living history and reenacting.

See you on the battlefield.

Welcome to the forum. I've been busy writing and the other day I did a talk before my Round Table on sharpshooters. Now I have to prepare to be videotaped on the various firearms of the blackpowder era. So, my apologies for the tardy welcome.
