Default Hi! Newbie from Florida

Hi!

I saw this site after I posted several messages. Sorry for not introducing myself first.

Am primarily interested in the Civil War in the West, and General George H. Thomas.

Hi Don,

Welcome to this forum and we look forward to your posts. I also enjoy the West but the vast majority of my readings concern Virginia. It's what I find in the used book market.

Well, Don, I'm sure you'll find no shortage of opinions and "wisdom" on the subject of Gen Thomas' skills. :) Truly, there are many extremely knowledgeable people here. Glad to have you joining us.

Don,

Welcome. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say about Thomas as it should be an interesting viewpoint. A Southerner who fought for the North! Please begin a thread with this in mind. Should be a good one.

Sincerely,
Unionblue
