Hi everyone. I am a new member to this site and I think it is quite amazing. I do not know a great deal about the CW but I am very interested in the Hauntings and stories of women in the CW. I look forward to reading more about these topics.
I am from Canada and have two wonderful children. I am married to a wonderful man whose passion is Medieval history and he does re-enacting shows regularly. I love horses with a passion and I am lucky enough to be able to ride whenever I like.
Welcome, I hope you enjoy your stay. We're all here to learn.

Welcome, I am new as well, I started out with a medieval studies passion and have been doing medieval reenacting for years, and alot of medieval theater as well. There is a lot you can find out about women, to get a feel I would suggest reading some of their diaries. I also really like mothers of invention, it goes thru some Confederate women's lives and has alot of really good information in it.

Ladies,
Please let me welcome you to this humble board, where everyone you meet, is your friend, at least in the beginning, or until your sympathies are exhibited to those who might not find the Southern charm, all that appealing, due to circumstances which, by the way, are beyond your control. The one thing that you will learn here, is to stand up for what you believe, and let not, those who know no better, sway you from your staunch positions as lovely Belles of the Southland. As long as you attend the tea's and sewing rooms of this estasblishment, and partake not of these hard fought 'discussions', you will be treated quite gently and ladylike, I'm sure. However, venture into the blood soaked 'battlefields' of this board, you will find that 'death' knows no gender, for the other side, doesn't give much ground, therefore, you must stand yours. Seriously though, I wish to extend to you, the hand of fellowship to this wonderful board. I believe, that you will enjoy your visits here. You will find many friendships, I'm sure, no matter which side of the Mason-Dixon line you're on.
Ladies, I look forward to learning from you both. Being a descendant of Edward I as well as a few Confederates and US Army as well, I'm eager to have you aboard. Our most humble welcome.
You must come to the States and visit the sites. Drag hubbie with you and watch him turn beat red when the ranger explains something and you clarify it while hubbie stands by dumbfounded.
