At least you're properly attired and you already have the accent! Some of these folks talk funny, (and use big words) but they have a bundle of knowledge and share a lot of information with great attitudes. Welcome to the tent!

Welcome! Glad to have you here, especially since you are a member of the Confederate forces. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay, just try and not let the fear of being 'wounded' bother you, for indeed, there is always that chance, once the bullets began to fly.
