Gunny,
A belated welcome to the boards. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. I will have to try to get your book some day soon. My grandfather fought at Spring Hill. Albeit for the Union in the 28th KY Vet Vol Reg. It is a small world.

Jamie:
I looked briefly for your book. Apparently it hasn't reached the booksellers of abebooks.com. Where might I find a copy on-line?

ole,

As for now, since I self published, it is available only locally here in Franklin and local bookstores. The Carter House, Rippavilla, Carnton Plantation and Borders Booksellers. You can get it through the Carter House and they will ship it. Their number is 615-791-1861. I don't have an ISBN number yet or a distributor other than myself so it is hard to get it out nationally.

aphillbilly,

The 28th Kentucky played a very significant role repulsing Forrest and threatening the Confederate encroachment at Spring Hill. They had a large number of Colt repeating rifles (seven shot revolvers) and were able to inflict serious damage to the enemy.
