Nelly,
May I add my welcome to you also. There are many folks on this board that carry with them, an extreme amount of knowledge about that great conflict. I am fairly new to this board as well, but I've been made to feel at home, and me being one of the few ardent Southerners, take kindly to this. I never give up hope that some day, we'll win this thing yet. I think you'll find yourself in plenty of company, as there are a few more yanks than Confederates, .................so okay, what else is new!.......but just as with the War for Soutnern Independence, we give a good account of ourselves. We can give as well as we take. Again.....Welcome.

Regards,
SgtCSA

Hi Nelly28!
I'm from mostly the Mid-East region of the country and have moved around alot from place to place. I'm currently in Michigan, just moving from Kentucky. There are not any battlefield sites in MI, but I'm hearing the Michiganians were important volunteers in the Union army, serving bravely at Gettysburg. I'm also new to this site, so I can enjoy this alongside you.
