Default Hello Everyone

I have eventually decided to join after reading the posts for what seems like an eternity.

I have been interested in your War Between the States since I was very young after seeing Errol Flynn in the film "Rocky Mountain" since then I have read numerous books on the subject and travelled to the States lots of times mostly the Southern ones visiting many, many battlefields, museums and buildings of interest. I have also photographed thousands of Confederate monuments in towns, cities and cemeteries in every Southern State. I guess you could say I am a Unreconstructed British Rebel.

Welcome to the board RebAl. Good to have input from the Confederate Gubmint in Exile. Now, where's my major's commission and when do I start arms acquisition?

Hello RebAl,

Are you a member of the American Civil War Round Table (UK)? Did you belong to the (sadly defunct) Confederate Historical Society?

I'm interested in your collection of photos of Confederate monuments, especially if they include gravestones of A.N.V. officers. I look forward to swapping notes with you on this and other subjects.

Bill

Dear RebAl,

What is it with all these British Rebels? (Sigh!)

The trouble is not the you side with the South, it is just that mostly you present such fine arguments and debate like hell for the 'wrong' side!

Welcome, sir, I look forward to seeing you on the debating field, but I must warn you, you have quite a reputation to live up to, as our resident Brit, BIll, is an expert at drawing debating blood along with his earstwhile Canadian ally, Dawna.

I look forward to your input and observations.

Sincerely,
Unionblue
