Hello, Marvin, and welcome to the website. Hope you'll enjoy it here.

For how long did you live in Atlanta before moving to North Carolina?

Hello Marvin, and welcome!
I hope you will enjoy it here.
We always look forward to hearing from new voices!

I bet you like the weather a lot better in North Carolina than you did in "Hotlanta"!

Welcome, Marvin! I think you'll enjoy it.

Btw, my daughter and her family live near Atlanta, and I've spent a little time stationed in North Carolina. I've enjoyed both places.

Hi Jan. I see you're a seasoned hand at this Civil War stuph. I'm still learning and I've been reading the material for about 5 years now.

Jan you're in the right spot. And Marvin, welcome as well.

Hi! My name is Nancy and I am new, and a bit confused with your high-tech site. I am not exactly technologically inclined and feel I should have been living in the 19th Century! I have loved the Civl War all my life and thought I knew an awful lot about it until I joined Fields of Conflict and was put in my place! LOL! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning even more. Let me know if I mess up and, oh, I did read the rules!

Welcome aboard, Nancy! Nice to see another lady come aboard. I know what you mean about the 19th century. Some of us are just mis-placed time-travellers. But we muddle through.

I know you will enjoy it here. We have a GRAND group.

Till we meet again,
