Hey Allen, when is the wedding, how authentic do you want to be, and how much do you want to spend? Patterns for Civil War uniforms are expensive and can be complicated to sew.

I've bought patterns from James Country Mercantile http://www.jamescountry.com/ and they sent the pattern right away. The trouble is, each piece (trousers, coat, vest) is a separate pattern and they run about 20 bucks each.

If you want to buy ready-made uniforms, check out the Sutlers Row section on this site. I am friends with the fellow who runs C&C Sutlery. His stuff is OK for beginning reenactors and for costume purposes.

And congratulations on your wedding!

Zou
