I'm in California and I've been studying the Civil War for nearly three years, been in Civil War reenactments for three years, and have written two books intertwined in to the Civil War. Nice to know there's other people out there just like me }
Welcome aboard, enjoy the site and take a look see to the Poke Sack reenactors forum. The tales of events has been a favorite thread of mine since it began.
Pick a forum jump in and enjoy, we're pretty friendly here.

Welcome to the board! Hope you enjoy yourself and jump right in. You won't find a better place to discuss the Civil War or any other better folks to talk about it with.
Sincerely,
Unionblue

I'll say hello too but wonder about the following message I discovered when taking a look at Kaleb's profile, something I like to do when finding new members in the group. I'm always interested in new members website, if they have one.
....Profile Does Not Exist
The profile that you have requested no longer exists. The user who created this profile has been deleted from the system. ......
This begs a question. If true, why was Kaleb deleted from the group after posting only a few comments.
